Smoky Mountain National Park | Tennessee, USA

Mount Kenya National Park | Embu, Kenya

Moja Foundation supports the education and care of orphaned and impoverished children in Embu, Kenya. Embu is located in the foothills of Mount Kenya, the highest point in Kenya. Moja Foundation operates from Tennessee in the foothills of The Great Smoky Mountains, home of Clingmans Dome, the highest point in Tennessee. On October 6, 2018  Moja supporters will hike the Andrew's Bald Trail from Clingman's Dome while  several of the youth and staff in Embu hike towards Mount Kenya.

Money raised will support the education and care of orphaned and impoverished children in Kenya AND 10% of proceeds will benefit children in foster care in East Tennessee. If you want to participate and help us raise money, but don't live near The Great Smoky Mountains or want to go somewhere on your own, you can hike anywhere you want. We are fundraising through Crowdrise at https://www.crowdrise.com/o/en/campaign/mountains-for-moja
